I've taken Corinne's Reiki classes and she is an excellent teacher. The book reflects that very well, as I've felt as if Corinne was talking to me while reading the book. You'll learn tons about breathing techniques, which once mastered become an indispensable part of one's life. The book gives teaser on energy work, introducing readers to chakras and energy flow. And of course there are innumerous routines with photographs and explanations.

Great book! Corinne has made a book where you can start out on different levels and with different approaches to yoga.

1. Build your strength and getting to know the different poses while learning her breathing themes.
2. Work directly on your chakras.
3. Develope muscle strenghth and burn calories.
4. Complete routines for the whole body.
5. Develope your flexibility
6. Energizing routines
7. Special routines for swimmers, runners and to help you sleep.

The book comes with many photos and explainations of what to notice and what to be aware of. All done with a great sense of humour and a nice down to earth approach to what yoga is and can be.

You get a good introduction to connect your breathing with a pose and to develope your breathing skills while doing yoga.

The cool thing about this book is that it has a spiral back. You can flip over the pages as you like and this makes it great to have next to you while you doing one of her routines.

Corinne also has a web site where you can look up every pose and both read and hear her explanation of the pose. To actually to be able to listen to an explanation of how to do a pose, helps a lot, especially if the pose is new to you.

I would highly recommend this book both to beginners and to people who are familiar with yoga. The book is easy to use, gets you in touch with your body and helps you doing yoga from the inside and out. Enjoy!

I have had the great fortune of knowing Corinne personally and have met many of her students, some of which are over 80 years old. The high degree of respect they hold for her method of teaching and her character is very evident. Her book reflects her down to earth, realistic approach to building skills while making the student feel real enjoyment while doing Yoga. I have seen the numerous letters of praise and heartfelt thanks she has received over the years from students of all ages. If you can't have the pleasure of being in her class then this book is the next best thing. If you want to love Yoga then please buy this book.

Found this video very helpful. Have been using [your] techniques to prepare me for a more difficult asana which is part of the Kriya Yoga program I follow.
Anyway, your detailed instructions are really good. You overlook nothing, and explain everything with such clarity. Very superior demonstration of poses, compared with so many yoga lessons on video. Bravo and Namaste.
