There are many kinds of meditation. They take you to different kinds of places. Meditaiton can restore you, heal you, connect you with yourself and others, sharpen your thinking, relax you, make you more aware of yourself and others - the possibilities are endless. There are different kinds of meditation to serve these different purposes. In Serenity Yoga, the Breathing Themes are, themselves, meditations. You can use them during your yoga poses or by themselves throughout the day or in your meditation practice. We also have other meditations to help you with things like present mindedness and self exploration. And there's the good, old fashioned, favourite - the basic meditation of just noticing your breath coming and going.
